One thirty in the morning Im lying in bed, my dog is sleeping on the floor
I see a light in my window, my dog barks and someone knocks on my door
Who is it? I said as I jump out of bed and grab some pants from my laundry heap
Dont you know what time it is? Ive got to go to work tomorrow and Im trying to get some sleep.
The man outside said Its the police and I got a piece of paper saying I can come in
I said Now whats this about? He said We saw you outside fighting with your girlfriend
I said That? Oh yeah, well we got it straightened out she was just messing with my head.
He said That aint what we hear, took the cuffs from his belt looked at me and said

Im walking down the street coming back from this place where I go when I gotta fill my need
