Formerly known as "The Hamilton Two" (adapted from a Homer Simpson joke), 3.26 are Eva and R.L. Hargis, an acoustic duo from Hamilton, NJ. Their music is a unique blend of folk, rock, country, blues, and reggae. Combining a wide array of covers with R.L.'s original songs, they create a sound that proves that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
The name, 3.26, refers to Chapter 3, Verse 26 of the Bhagavad Gita. In Sri Swami Satchidananda's "The Living Gita", the verse is translated to read "A wise person will not disturb the mind of an unwise person who is still attached to the fruits of his or her actions. But by continuously performing perfect (selfless) actions, the wise person influences others in all they do."
We've been known to play

Not yet. We're currently in the process of getting ready to consider thinking about getting into a studio and recording a CD. But nothing's happened yet.
Afraid not... 3.26 want to make their materials available for download only in LOSSLESS format. See, MP3's strip away the high and low frequencies from recordings, and the final product isn't quite as good as we'd like. So, rather than have a bunch of inferior recordings floating around out there, we've decided to disable downloads.
Simple. Just
e-mail us and let us know you'd like them!
E-mail us and let us know when, where, and what, and we'll make arrangements.
